FIFA president Gianni Infantino is set to remain in post - for the moment - after marathon crisis talks in Morocco on Wednesday. <p>Infantino instead believes he is accountable to the 211 football associations which make up FIFA.</p><p>He appears to have calculated he still has enough support - especially in parts of South America, Africa and Asia - to carry on.</p><p>He was pictured at a Women's AFCON game following the seven-hour meeting on Wednesday, smiling and sitting next to his secretary general Mattias Grafstrom - who was criticising him on Tuesday.</p><p>It is now up to his critics to decide their next move.</p><p>They could call an emergency FIFA Council meeting, or an emergency FIFA Congress and hold a vote of no confidence in Infantino.</p><p>Otherwise, they have until November 18 to put up at least one rival candidate to take on Infantino in the next presidential election in March.</p><p><em>More to follow...</em></p><ul></ul><widget id="1"></widget>
