Barcelona in talks with Inter Milan over shock swap deal involving Italian international
With the clock ticking, Barcelona are in a race against time to resolve the future of Alejandro Balde.
The Spanish international has been identified as surplus to requirements this season and has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou.
Recently, AC Milan have emerged as a potential suitor for Balde , who has had a steady decline in his game over the last 12 months.
But a shocking report from Diario SPORT has now revealed that Milan’s great rival Inter Milan are in talks to sign Balde.

The report points out that Inter and Barcelona are currently involved in negotiations over a swap deal.
The swap deal involves Alejandro Balde and Federico Dimarco, the Inter wingback who has been in sensational form in the last few years.
Although Balde does not want to leave Barcelona and wants to stay put, Deco is working with Inter officials to reach a potential swap deal.
Is Dimarco the right fit for Barcelona?
From the outset, an arrangement between Barcelona and Inter this late in the window appears very unlikely.

However, should the deal happen, Dimarco could be an interesting option for Barcelona.
The Italian international notably racked up seven goals and 18 assists in Serie A last season and brings ample experience to the table.
Dimarco could be an excellent alternative for Joao Cancelo in the left-back position, though that area is currently occupied by the talented Xavi Espart.
Dimarco has also operated in a more forward role at times and gives Barcelona some genuine backup on the left flank, thus making him an ideal option for the Blaugrana .
That being said, the speculation of talks between Inter and Barcelona should be taken with a grain of salt, especially considering the fact that Dimarco was long considered untouchable by Inter due to his form in the last few years.
