See the full story · 1 sourcesThe Kansas City Chiefs continue their NFL premier preseason charitable tradition by taking the field to support a worthy community cause. On August 15, the Chiefs will host the Los Angeles Rams for the 42nd annual Chiefs Charity Game, with the matchup directly benefiting the life-changing work of Jackson County CASA.
Jackson County CASA has served as the beneficiary of the Chiefs Charity Game from 2024 through 2026, a partnership that amplifies the mission to advocate for children experiencing abuse and neglect. The Chiefs and the Hunt Family continue their extraordinary commitment to make a lasting impact on the children served by the county.
Supporters last year raised over $450,000 for Jackson County CASA's mission of advocating for children in the child welfare system—giving them a voice, stability, and hope for the future. Last year's game was a losing effort for the Chiefs against the visiting Chicago Bears 29-27.
The 2026 fundraising goal is $500,000, and contributions through sponsorships, raffles, donations, special fundraising events, or t-shirt sales will ensure every child has a champion in their corner.
