On Wednesday morning, the Kansas City Chiefs are having the 13th full-team practice of this year’s training camp on the grass fields at Missouri Western State University in St. Joe.
The morning has started with a delay for fans entering the gates at practice, the third time that has happened this summer. It is expected to be extremely hot on Wednesday, with early-morning storms moving away as the day goes on.
Arrowhead Pride will not have boots on the ground at training camp for the rest of the week, so we’ll be following along with local media’s coverage of practice. Wednesday’s should feature pads, while Thursday is expected to be a lighter day ahead of an off-day Friday.
Special teams coordinator Dave Toub, tight end Travis Kelce, punter Matt Araiza and rookie offensive lineman Kahlil Benson is expected to speak to local media at the podium following Wednesday’s practice.
The team is preparing for its preseason opener on Saturday, a home game against the Los Angeles Rams that will kick off at 3:00 p.m. at Arrowhead Stadium.
