Chelsea have set their asking price for Pedro Neto at £70m, pretty reasonable given the circumstances.

One of the most interesting new transfer rumours of the last few days has seen Man City linked with interest in Chelsea winger Pedro Neto.
The Portugal star is apparently wanted by new City manager Enzo Maresca, who took a shine to him while he was in charge at Stamford Bridge.
TalkSport’s report gives an outline of the sort of money that the Cityzens would have to pay to land a player expected to be a regular for Xabi Alonso. Transfer writer Alex Crook says that the Blues want £70m for winger.

“Pedro Neto is a player that Maresca knows well from his time at Chelsea, and I’m told Manchester City’s interest in Neto is genuine,” Crook said in TalkSport’s report on the potential transfer.
“I think Chelsea would demand a fee in the region of £70million for Neto.”
That adds up – he’s a peak age Premier League regular. We think most Chelsea fans would take that if it was offered. For his many qualities, Neto doesn’t offer much end product, and we’ve got other, more promising wingers.
In other news…
Jamie Gittens would be one of the players to potentially fill in for Neto were he to leave, and the young winger has been speaking about how he feels his preseason has gone so far.
Axel Disasi is a defender Chelsea would like to sell this summer, and there is finally some transfer interest in him from Premier League teams.
