A potentially serious injury to free agent addition Coby Bryant, who came over from the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks , might complicate matters on that front.
The rangy safety went down with a left knee injury during Monday's Bears training camp practice. It was Chicago's first full pads practice of the year. Bryant was visibly emotional, which isn't the best sign at a glance, and was also carted off. However, as noted by CHGO's Adam Hoge, the cart might have been more of a precaution given that Bryant was practicing on the Bears' far field at their headquarters. You know, to cut the distance:
