Blues surge rocks Freo as former Swans assistant makes big culture call

A terrific quarter sees the Blues take an 11-point lead into the main break at Docklands Stadium. They've played some irresistible football in that half, typical of the displays under Josh Fraser, and they were able to overturn a 23-point deficit by getting on an absolute roll at the back end of the first term and the early part of the second. Even still, they'll be mindful that this margin is within a couple of goals, and as we've seen from Freo this season, they can whittle down a margin in no time.
