Transfer market, transfer market, and more transfer market. Even without the financial muscle of the other leagues, Serie A remains extremely active these days , as shown by Juventus’ double swoop yesterday afternoon, with Carnevali effectively wrapping up the arrivals of Kolo Muani and Alajbegović .

With one month left before the end of the summer window, there will still be plenty of twists to come. Here are today’s most important stories.
Juve, Conceição to the Premier League for big money?
With their incoming business seeing a major acceleration thanks to the arrivals of Kolo Muani and Alajbegovic , Juventus are also beginning to assess possible departures. One of the main candidates is Conceição , who has attracted interest from Leipzig, Liverpool and Manchester United .
The Red Devils currently seem to be the club most interested in the Portuguese winger, who is seen as an ideal profile to strengthen the attack. Juventus, however, do not appear willing to offer any discounts: signed permanently for around €32 million , after a loan spell that cost a total of €10 million, Conceição is now valued at around €50 million . A figure that would also allow the Bianconeri to make a significant capital gain , considering the player is currently valued on their books at around €25 million.
Milan, Leão open to Turkey
According to Yağız Sabuncuoğlu , Rafa Leão has given preliminary approval to a possible move to the Turkish league . The focus of the deal therefore shifts to Milan’s willingness , with Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray ready to battle it out to reach an agreement with the Rossoneri.
The two Istanbul clubs have chosen different strategies: Fenerbahçe are taking the lead by opening direct talks with Milan’s management to find a financial agreement, while Galatasaray prefer to work through an intermediary to gauge the feasibility of the move. The final decision, however, will be up to Milan , who must decide whether to let their number 10 leave, and under what conditions.
Inter, agreement with Tottenham! Now Romero is the missing piece
Inter have sealed the deal for John Stones, who will sign a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri today. The Englishman’s arrival, after landing at Linate Prime this morning, allows the club to sort out the defence following the departures of Acerbi and De Vrij . Meanwhile, the strategy on the flank also seems to have changed: the Diouf experiment on the right is producing good results and has pushed investment in a wide player into the background.

But Inter do not want to stop at Stones and, as highlighted by La Gazzetta dello Sport , they have recently reached an understanding with Tottenham over the valuation of Cristian Romero’s transfer fee . An important step for the Nerazzurri, who still need to find an agreement with the Argentine defender: the player is said to have made very high demands, namely €8 million net per season . The talks therefore remain open, with the financial agreement with Romero representing the final obstacle.
Napoli, Gutierrez could leave and head to Germany
Miguel Gutierrez ’s future could lie away from Napoli after just one season. According to Bild , Bayer Leverkusen have identified the Spanish full-back as one of the main candidates to replace Alejandro Grimaldo , who has moved to Atletico Madrid. The German club are also considering Facundo Medina, but Gutierrez would be the preferred profile because of his technical quality and attacking thrust .

The winger’s valuation is between €20 million and €25 million , a figure that would allow Napoli to make a major capital gain , considering the roughly €20 million they spent last summer to sign him from Girona. Bild also points out that Leverkusen want to sort out their new full-back before training camp begins on Saturday, so the deal could soon heat up .
Roma, still a gap for Ezzalzouli
Roma continue to work on Abde Ezzalzouli , who remains their main target to strengthen the wide areas. According to Matteo Moretto , however, negotiations with Real Betis are proving more complicated than expected: the Spanish club value the 2001-born player at €45 million , while Roma’s offer stands at around €35 million plus bonuses .
The financial gap is not Roma’s only obstacle. Ezzalzouli has given his availability to move to Serie A , but there is still no full agreement between the player and the Giallorossi on the contract terms . Salary and commissions requested by his entourage still need to be defined, so the deal will require further contact before a breakthrough can be reached.
Lazio, Romagnoli will leave, but...
Lazio continue to work on the possible sale of Alessio Romagnoli , despite a defence reduced to just Doekhi and Provstgaard , with Gigot and Patric sidelined and Marusic being used in the middle. According to the Corriere dello Sport , the defender’s stay is still far from certain: Al-Sadd renewed their interest on Tuesday with a new offer on top of the €3 million already put forward.
After the slowdown linked to cuts by the Qatari ministry , the deal has now restarted. Lazio responded with a counter-offer and are now waiting for the club’s reply. Romagnoli still prefers Qatar , but ...
