That aftermath includes revelations that James, who signed with the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this week, met with Cleveland Cavaliers ownership, including owner Dan Gilbert, and management including president of basketball operations Koby Altman and assistant general manager Brandon Weems in Akron in early July, according to ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania.
