Nottingham Forest’s Omari Hutchinson set for Milan medical tomorrow
Serie A side Milan have moved quickly to find a replacement for Rafael Leao, who has joined Galatasaray. Nottingham Forest’s Omari Hutchinson is now set to join the Rossoneri on an initial loan deal.
Get Italian Football News have looked at initial contact between the clubs earlier this week. The player was open to the deal and even then, things were going in the right direction.
Now, as per various sections of the Italian press – including La Gazzetta dello Sport , the deal is set to go through.
The Nottingham Forest player will join Milan on an initial loan with an option to buy.
The winger will arrive in the city later today at 8pm but will undergo his Milan medical tomorrow morning or afternoon, before signing a contract with Ruben Amorim’s side.
The Rossoneri are also considering handing him their number 10 jersey, which was vacated by Leao at the end of last season.
The deal comes at an important point of Hutchinson’s career. Nottingham Forest paid a significant amount to sign him last year but he scored once, assisting seven times in the Premier League. But since his Ipswich Town days, the attacker has always added an ounce of unpredictability to attack and Amorim’s side needs a player of that profile, with Leao gone.
