Tottenham are moving like a club that have stopped thinking small. According to TeamTalk, Spurs have held conversations over a possible summer move for Endrick, and while plenty still has to happen before this becomes concrete, the logic is obvious.
Roberto De Zerbi has already overseen an aggressive window. Tottenham have added Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dubravka, Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, while smashing their transfer record twice. That tells you two things. First, the club are backing the new head coach properly. Second, they are not done.
De Zerbi has made it clear the squad build is incomplete, particularly in attack. Savinho is reportedly the priority out wide, Cody Gakpo remains on the radar and Pedro Neto is viewed as an alternative. Endrick, though, is a different discussion. He is not a standard market opportunity, he is one of those rare cases where elite potential becomes temporarily available because a super-club have too many moving parts at once.

Endrick Loan Deal Could Suit Tottenham
The key detail is the structure. Real Madrid are only prepared to authorise another straight loan. That usually puts some clubs off. Tottenham, apparently, are open to it, even without a buy option. Sensible enough. If you are convinced a player can shift the level of your forward line immediately, the absence of a long-term guarantee does not automatically kill the deal.
Endrick’s second half of 2025/26 at Lyon was productive, eight goals and eight assists in 21 appearances in all competitions. That is not empty output padded by weak opposition. It is a serious return for a 20-year-old adapting to European football, carrying expectation and playing under scrutiny. It also helped him into Brazil’s World Cup squad, which says plenty about how he is viewed at the top end of the game.
At Real Madrid, the path still looks blocked. José Mourinho has made decisive calls in the market, bringing in Carlos Espi and Yan Diomande, while Vinicius Jr has been tied down on a new contract. When that sort of traffic builds up around you, it does not matter how gifted you are, minutes become harder to find.

This is where Tottenham can be opportunistic. Endrick is understood to favour a Premier League move. Manchester United are mentioned as rivals, but Spurs may hold an advantage if they are more relaxed about Madrid’s preferred terms. That matters late in a window, when deals often hinge less on romance and more on who can live with the conditions.
There is also a football fit here. De Zerbi wants attackers who can receive under pressure, attack space quickly and decide actions with conviction. Endrick has that profile. He is compact, explosive and direct. He can play through the middle, threaten from wider starting positions and unsettle defenders who prefer predictable reference points.
Carlo Ancelotti’s assessment remains hard to ignore. “He is spectacular,” Ancelotti told a press conference. “He has these amazing characteristics he has shown whenever he has a chance. His accuracy is off the charts, he’s quick, and he still has a lot to improve with the ball. But, wow, his dribbling, his runs… the shot he has… he could even score a second goal easily with that great strike off the post… He is just spectacular. Very young, but a very fast learner.”
That does not mean Endrick is guaranteed to explode in north London. It means Tottenham are looking in the right market. If you want to close the gap, you need talent that scares people. Endrick qualifies.
Our View
From a Tottenham perspective, this is exactly the sort of report that gets supporters going. Endrick is the profile fans want to see linked with Spurs, young, elite, hungry and with a point to prove. If De Zerbi really wants more firepower, then aiming for a player of this calibre shows ambition rather than caution.
Some will moan about the idea of a straight loan with no buy option. Fair enough, in theory. In practice, Tottenham need quality now. If Endrick comes in and tears it up for a season, helps Spurs in the league and in Europe, and gives the whole front line more edge, that is value. Not every transfer has to be about control five years down the road.
The exciting part is how he would fit this side. Spurs already look more aggressive in the market, and there is a real sense the club are building something sharper, quicker and more dangerous. Endrick would add chaos, acceleration and proper penalty-box instinct. Defenders hate players like that.
Supporters should also recognise what this says about Tottenham’s standing. If Spurs are in these conversations for one of Brazil’s biggest talents, it means the club are being taken seriously. That matters. You do not build a winning squad by shopping timidly.
If this deal is there to be done, Tottenham should push. Hard. Endrick feels like the kind of signing that can lift the mood, lift the level and make everyone believe this team are chasing something big.
