STARE was a decent enough opener, and PINTO slashed the 120 words I had remaining down to just two. I didn’t even think of UNCUT, unfortunately, and the first thing I came up with was BLUNT. If only I’d guessed SLATE instead of STARE, that “L” was the winner.
I get 0 points for guessing in four and -1 for losing to the Bot. The Bot gets a point for guessing in three and another for beating me. Our new August totals are:
