Texas A&M's 2025 offensive line was by far one of the best starting rotations in program history, as left tackle Trey Zuhn, left guard Chase Bisontis, right guard Ar'maj Reed-Adams, and right tackle Dametrious Crownover were all selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, placing another feather in Adam Cushing's cap during his second season as the program's O-line coach.
Bisontis, who could have easily gone in the first round, was selected with the second overall pick in the second round by the Arizona Cardinals , bringing elite strength, athleticism, and versatility to an aging offensive line in need of a boost and a key depth piece heading into the 2026 season. During his three seasons in College Station, Bisontis quickly became one of the top pass protectors in the country, while consistently mauling players in the run game.
During his first preseason game with the Cardinals against Carolina, Bisontis was borderline perfect, starting at right guard, blocking for rookie quarterback Carson Beck, who was barely touched all night. According to Pro Football Focus, Bisontis allowed zero sacks and just one pressure in 42 snaps, earning an impressive 85.2 offensive grade, paired with impressive run blocking (81.8) and pass blocking (78.0) marks.
However, after Thursday's second preseason game vs. Las Vegas, which resulted in a 27-14 road loss, Bisontis suffered what could end up being a season-ending torn MCL, and according to NFL insider Ian Rappaport, the former Aggie starter will have surgery next week and is expected to make a full recovery.
An obvious blow to the young star in the making, Bisontis is still on track to become the Cardinals' starting left or right guard going into the 2027 NFL season.
