Emily Compagno has been named a full-time co-host on Fox News Channel's The Five .
Compagno, who has been the co-host of Outnumbered since 2021, joins The Five starting Sept. 8, alongside co-hosts Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino, Jesse Watters, and Harold Ford Jr. and Jessica Tarlov, who rotate in the liberal co-host chair. In joining the program, Compagno will step down from her role on Outnumbered , a panel show which features four women and one male, and a rotating Fox News personality will fill the seat until a full-time co-host is named.
Compagno first joined Fox News as a contributor in 2018. Prior to joining the network, Compagno practiced law in criminal defense and civil litigation and later served as a federal managing attorney and acting director at the Social Security Administration.
The Five typically ranks as the most watched cable news program. The show, which has been on air for 15 years, uses a roundtable format in which the panel debates politics, pop culture and other current events.
