Kyle Singler, who was a standout at Duke, has slammed former head coach Mike Krzyzewski for putting him in a difficult position.
Singler had a brief career in the NBA following his stint at Duke, playing for the Detroit Pistons and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Outside of making the All-Rookie Second Team in 2013, Singler never made much of an impression during his six years in the league.

Kyle Singler slams Coach Krzyzewski for not helping him during difficult time
Kyle Singler took to social media to share a concerning video, where he calls out Duke and his former head coach Mike Krzyzewski.
In an incoherent stream-of-consciousness rant, Singler said his life and financial assets were in jeopardy, and he reached out to Krzyzewski, only for him to be ignored.
“I need this message to go out to as many people as possible. Coach K has set me up, man. I have no power, and I have no house. I’ve reached out to Coach, and everybody has turned the other way. I’ve reached out to Coach, and he has fully dismissed the message.
“You guys are cutting my power off, breaking into my house, stealing money, ruining my life. I’ve reached out to Coach, and all he did was sit me on the bench! Is that what we’re doing at school? Sending people down? Teaching them up? Cool beans, man. I got more to say, but I need this message to go out.
“Coach, where you at? Help a brother out. Thought we were on the same team, man! We have a privacy issue, and we have a technology issue. I can’t even do anything. All my accounts are hijacked and frozen. I have people watching my residence.
“People in Oklahoma are way too paranoid for honesty and truth. A lot of people have a lot of reflection to do… Coach, I need your help. I’m locked in my house, and I have no freedom anymore. Everybody has been attacking me for greed.
“Have at it, y’all… I’ve tried to share messages about where we’re at… Duke is all about it… You got a former player being mistreated and abused, and you ain’t doing nothing, man. Help out.”
It’s concerning to see Singler, who was playing professional basketball until his final stint in 2019 with Spanish club CB Canarias, in such a concerning state.
It’s unclear why Singler is blaming Coach K for his situation, given that he hasn’t played under him since leaving Duke in 2012.
Furthermore, Krzyzewski hasn’t even been a coach for almost four years, having retired as the head coach of Duke in 2022.
Hopefully, this video going viral can get Singler the help he needs, as he is clearly not in a good headspace and is struggling.
