Los Angeles optioned pitcher Seth Halvorsen to Triple-A affiliate Oklahoma City after earning his first win with the Dodgers on Tuesday.
In his debut with the Dodgers on Tuesday, the former Vol pitched one inning in relief and totaled 11 pitches, including seven strikes, against four batters. The right-handed pitcher allowed one walk.
Halvorsen was traded to Los Angeles from Colorado on July 20 for outfielder Landyn Vidourek, the Dodgers' No. 25 prospect, and pitcher Nick Frasso.
Halvorsen was assigned to Oklahoma City after being traded on July 21.
He was at Tennessee from 2022-23, but did not play in 2022 due to injury. Halvorsen was selected by the Rockies in the seventh-round (No. 202 overall) of the 2023 MLB draft.
He made his Major League Baseball debut for Colorado on Aug. 30, 2024, facing one batter (one pitch) in the ninth inning against Baltimore, forcing Gunnar Henderson into a groundout to third base.
