Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is a prequel to the previous two critically acclaimed, rat-filled horror adventures, and it's not supposed to be out for another seven days. But that hasn't stopped the PC version from somehow leaking early. It's hardly the first time pirates have gotten early access to a game this year.

Reports that any DRM the game had was cracked and that copies were being circulated online hit the game's subreddit earlier today. There have since been images shared of the game's loading screen, with several players claiming to have begun playing Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy early, while others log off in order to avoid spoilers. Images from the game have been spreading on piracy subreddits as well.
