Draymond Green is back.
Green has agreed to return to the Warriors on a one-year, $27.7 million contract, his agent Rich Paul told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Tuesday morning.
Earlier this offseason, Green declined his $27.7 million player option to become a free agent and give Golden State flexibility to pursue LeBron James in NBA free agency.
But with James choosing the Philadelphia 76ers, the Warriors made sure to secure their guy.
In 14 seasons, Green has averaged 8.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists through 949 games and 794 starts.
Green now will play his 15th consecutive season in the Bay, where he’s won four NBA championships and continues to chase a fifth.
