Patch v41.30 adds more content than many might've expected from the final update of the season.
Downtime started at 4 a.m. ET on July 30, and while some players logged off for the night, others eagerly waited for the dataminers to dig into the game files and share them with the world. Not long after, leakers started sharing all the juicy content that would be added to Fortnite . Considering that v41.30 is the last update of Chapter 7 Season 3, players weren't expecting much, as for many, the next few weeks are just a waiting game for Season 4.
The patch notes and leaks confirmed that Chapter 7 Season 3 still had a lot to give, especially in terms of collaborations. Fortnite had confirmed the return of The Simpsons last week, as a limited-time event, so fans were already looking forward to that. The hype only grew when it was revealed that John Wick and The Continental Hotel would be making a special appearance in the new Reload map of Springfield, which will be the only island in Reload until Monday. Battle Pass owners should be sure to check out the Reload Quests available in this event, as they offer an alternative style for John Wick.

Gamers are excited to get on stage and play their hearts out so they can start unlocking all of his cosmetics. And it seems that Lil Tecca isn't the only New Yorker making his way to Fortnite . Spider-Man has made a return to the Battle Royale thanks to a collaboration with Spider-Man: Brand New Day .
Spider-Man: Brand New Day cosmetics are expected to become available in the Item Shop on Friday, July 31, once it refreshes at 8 p.m. ET. While players wait to get their hands on this new Spidey skin, they can play around with Spider-Man's Web-Shooters, which have been temporarily unvaulted to celebrate the movie's release. The Web-Shooters can be purchased from the Spider-Man NPC (in The Battlewoods POI) or by searching Spider-Man's Backpacks, a returning loot container.
Several new sprites and variants have been added to Fortnite with patch v41.30. Gamers can now obtain Holofoil and Cube variants for the Reaper and Zero Point sprites, and they can get their hands on the Lootin' Llama, Peeky Peely, and Quack sprites. To guarantee that they get these rare sprites faster, players should make sure that they level them up as much as they can in order to progress in the Sprite Master track and unlock the Lucky Locator Gizmo. This new gizmo makes it easier for players to find sprites that they haven't added to their collection yet, as it spawns a chest with increased spawn rates for undiscovered sprites.
