Here's who Enquirer readers voted for as the top players at each position.
Readers choose winner of Cincinnati's top defensive specialist/libero
Dara Jackson, Notre Dame: While the Pandas will once again have a deep senior class, Jackson will be one of the stars of the show as a junior. She is the ninth-ranked player and fourth-ranked libero in Kentucky's class of 2028, according to PrepDig, and has already attracted a healthy amount of college offers. After contributing 516 digs, 85 assists and 47 aces, she was named to the 35th District, Ninth Region and state all-tournament teams.

Abby Keller, Fenwick: The Falcons figure to be one of the top teams in DIV now that McNicholas is in DIII. They have a deep senior class and will look to advance to their second state tournament in the last three years. Keller led the Greater Catholic League-Coed in 2025 with 558 assists and added 157 digs and 32 aces. She was named to the GCL-Coed and District 15 DIV second teams.

Willow Smith, Ursuline: The Lions are back in Division I for the first time since 2023 and have expectations to advance deep into the postseason. Smith is one of the top returning blockers in the GGCL, posting 61 rejections to go with 256 kills, 62 digs and 37 aces. She was named an all-league honorable mention, an all-district first-teamer and recently committed to Xavier University.

Teagan Kondik, Notre Dame: Think about some of the great hitters the Pandas have had just in this decade. Anna Long, Sydney Nolan, Ava Tilden, Audrey Dyas and Grace Portwood come to mind. Now Kondik can join that list after finishing with 310 kills, 105 digs and 30 blocks as a junior. At 6-foot-1 with an approach touch of 9-foot-5, she levitates on the attack and converts any serve placement into a kill. She is committed to the University of Cincinnati.
