Police fired shots during a reported knifepoint robbery at 4:27 p.m. between Seventh Avenue West and 42nd and 43rd Streets, police said.
The condition of the person is unknown at this time.
Police are closing streets in Times Square as the investigation continues and said to avoid West 43rd and Seventh Avenue.
