Omar Marmoush has signed his Spurs contract following successful medical, he will wear number 22 jersey
Manchester City attacker Omar Marmoush has reportedly signed his contract ahead of joining Tottenham Hotspur following a successful medical. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club signed Savinho from Man City earlier this week and the Egyptian is set to follow suit. Marmoush will wear the number 22 for Spurs and is expected to be announced officially before the end of the week. The Lilywhites have bolstered their options at the back and in midfield earlier this summer, and manager Roberto De Zerbi has now moved on to his attack.
Marmoush will be a huge addition to the Tottenham attack and one more forward could be signed before next Tuesday’s summer transfer deadline. The likes of Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao have also been linked with Spurs, and more names could emerge in the coming days. A humbling 3-0 defeat to Brentford on the opening day of the new Premier League campaign has made De Zerbi sit up, and he will be desperate to return to winning way when league action resumes against Newcastle United on Saturday.
Both Marmoush and Savinho could be available to feature against the Magpies, and a much-needed victory will be huge.
