The Los Angeles Rams made an unexpected trade on Thursday afternoon, just hours before their final preseason game against the Chargers. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Rams have traded Jarquez Hunter to the Dolphins for Tutu Atwell.
Yes, Tutu Atwell – the guy the Rams let walk in free agency five months ago after paying him $10 million guaranteed for the 2025 season.
The Rams already had good depth at wide receiver, but Atwell gives them another starting-caliber player on the outside. Hunter, meanwhile, was fighting for a roster spot behind Kyren Williams, Blake Corum and Ronnie Rivers.
