Corsair remains one of the premier RAM-makers in our experience, and while much of the attention this year has been on soaring DDR5 prices, but DDR4 hasn't escaped the wider memory squeeze either, making upgrades much more expensive than they were last year.
Still, for a nice saving on a top memory maker, the 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 kit is down to $260 (was $300) at Newegg .
What you're getting for your money is a well-established Corsair kit with a good combination of capacity, speed and relatively tight timings for an existing DDR4 system.

Why we recommend it
DDR4-3200 CL16 remains a decent specification for many existing Intel and AMD DDR4 systems. It offers reasonably tight latency, and the two-module configuration gives you a straightforward dual-channel setup.
Corsair also uses a custom PCB and screened memory ICs with stability and overclocking in mind. XMP 2.0 makes reaching the rated settings straightforward on compatible hardware so there's no need to configure timings manually.
It looks good too. The RGB implementation gives you ten individually addressable LEDs on each module, with extensive customization available through iCUE.
Price context & historical value
$259.99 is around 13% off the usual $299.99 asking price. That's not too bad in today's expensive memory market, but 32GB DDR4 kits have sold for an awful lot less in the not-so recent past.
Memory prices have risen massively this year (thanks mainly to AI), so this is about reducing what you have to pay now, rather than getting anywhere close to when DDR4 was cheap.

Should you buy it?
✅ Buy the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro if...
You have an existing DDR4 desktop that needs more memory and want a 32GB dual-channel kit rather than replacing the rest of your platform just to move to DDR5. It's suitable for systems where 16GB is beginning to feel restrictive when multitasking or running memory-hungry apps.
❌ Skip the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro if...
You're building an entirely new PC and have the option of choosing a DDR5 platform. Buying DDR4 makes much more sense as an upgrade that extends the life of an existing machine than as the foundation of a new high-end system.
Part of the appeal of Vengeance RGB Pro is its lighting and design, and if you don't need that then a less elaborate 32GB DDR4 kit may make more sense and cost less.
The Catch: What to know before you buy
The biggest issue is obvious: $259.99 is still a lot of money for 32GB of DDR4. That said, you're not going to find many bargains right now, so any saving is still worth considering.
These RGB modules also have relatively tall heat spreaders, so clearance is worth checking if you use a large CPU air cooler.
