The Dallas Cowboys made a blockbuster deal last season to land Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets , instantly making him the focal point of their defense. As a result, the Cowboys wanted to make sure Williams stuck around for the long term.
Williams has reportedly agreed to a new contract with the Cowboys, extending his deal beyond the final two years of his current contract. Williams wasn't set to hit free agency until 2028, but he will now remain in Dallas for the next five years.
The Cowboys had one of the worst defenses in the league last year, but the unit improved once Williams arrived in the second half of the season. Now, with a full offseason with his new team under his belt, Williams hopes to take his performance with the Cowboys to another level.
Here's a look at the Cowboys defensive tackle's new contract.
