According to several reports, former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold is signing with the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks.
Earlier this offseason, the Lions released their 2024 first-round pick after he was arrested and facing eight felony charges.
“ You never want to let go of a player, especially somebody that you’ve been around for a while here and you drafted and all that,” Campbell said at the start of training camp. “And it’s unfortunate that we made the move we felt was best for us.”
Arnold spent just two seasons with the Lions before the team opted to waive him. Through his first two seasons, Arnold played in 24 games, started 22, tallied 91 tackles, 18 passes defended and one interception.
Without Arnold the Lions are poised to move forward with D.J. Reed and Rock Ya-Sin as their starting cornerbacks with Nick Whiteside and Ennis Rakestraw as the primary backups.
