Odell Beckham Jr. has made it onto the New York Giants’ final 53-man roster for the 2026-27 NFL season, ensuring his NFL return after a season away.
Odell Beckham Jr. missed the entire 2025 NFL season due to a PED suspension and no teams wanting to sign him.
The two-time All-Pro signed a non-guaranteed training camp deal with his old Giants in the offseason to work his way onto the roster, something he’s now achieved through pure hard work.

Regardless of where they fall on the fandom spectrum for OBJ, fans are happy to see the veteran WR make it back to the NFL and play with the organisation that led to his rise.

Odell Beckham Jr. might get to retire on the field
OBJ was expected to retire if he failed to make the Giants’ 53-man roster, but it seems he will get the chance for a last hurrah with the Giants.

Over 59 career games for the Giants, OBJ had 390 receptions for 5,476 receiving yards and 44 touchdowns for the Giants, but he’s far from that player now.
OBJ should be a solid depth piece in a WR room that also includes Malik Nabers, rookie Malachi Fields, Darnell Mooney, and Darius Slayton.
OBJ will feature in rotational snaps through the first few weeks, and might carve out a bigger role for himself through production.
Nonetheless, this season is a chance for him to go out with his head held high in front of a fanbase that appreciates him after a few rough seasons around the NFL that saw his prime go to waste without a Super Bowl.
