OU basketball to open SEC play vs Kentucky: See Sooners' full schedule
NORMAN — Oklahoma men's basketball announced its full 2026-27 schedule Monday.
The Sooners open the regular season vs East Texas A&M on Nov. 2 at Lloyd Noble Center.
Notable nonconference games on OU's schedule include a home game against Syracuse on Dec. 1 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge at Lloyd Noble Center and a road game at SMU on Dec. 22 in Dallas.
OU will play neutral-site nonconference games against Pittsburgh and Purdue as part of the Fort Myers Tip-Off. The Sooners will also face Arizona State at BOK Center in Tulsa and Oklahoma State at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
In SEC play, each team plays the other 15 schools at least once during league play, with three opponents played twice. OU's home-and-home opponents this season are Georgia, Missouri and Texas.
The Sooners open SEC play by hosting Kentucky on Jan. 2.
Most midweek contest dates, times and TV information will be announced by the conference office at a later date. The SEC Tournament will be played at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena for the fifth consecutive season from March 10-14.
The Sooners return double-figures scorers, point guard Xzayvier Brown and forward Derrion Reid from last season's squad.
