Day 11 of Cleveland Browns training camp took place Monday, August 10, with the top story being that two players on offense were promoted to the first team.
Cleveland Browns Training Camp Report – Day 11 (8/10/26)
1. Promotions on Offense: Before practice, head coach Todd Monken announced that he promoted two players to the first-string offense: LT Spencer Fano and WR Denzel Boston . Fano seems to have won favor by not being intimidated by DE Jared Verse on Saturday. In a corresponding move, Monken envisions WR Jerry Jeudy being moved a lot, since they feel he is better on the move.
Monken says rookies Spencer Fano and Denzel Boston with work with the first team today at LT and X, respectively. He says that Saturday, when Fano fought with Jared Verse, “solidified it”.

2. About that QB Situation: Also before practice, Monken addressed all the whispers about the handling of the QB reps from Saturday:
#Browns HC Todd Monken said that Shedeur Sanders took the first team reps in Saturday's walk-through, but after a conversation he had where it was brought up Sanders had gotten more reps with the 1s than Deshaun Watson, he decided to put Watson with the 1s to get more looks.

He acknowledged that each quarterback would still start at least one preseason game, so nothing has really changed with the competition. QB Shedeur Sanders took on the first-team reps on Monday.
3. Catching Everything: WR KC Concepcion continues to haul in everything that comes his way, including this throw from QB Shedeur Sanders that was behind him.

4. Watson Goes Deep: We haven’t heard WR Cedric Tillman’s name called out once in camp, but here he is, hauling in a deep ball from QB Deshaun Watson with defenders nearby.

5. So Close? QB Shedeur Sanders got off a great pass in the corner of the end zone to WR Denzel Boston for what appeared to be a touchdown (and it might still be). Some of the media members thought one of his feet may have just barely been out of bounds, though.

6. Mistakes in Two Minute Drill: It sounded like a relatively smooth practice for the offense, until the one/two minute drill came for both the first- and second-team offense.
One-minute drill for the first offense started with a completion then went backwards. Ended on what I think was a Fano false start. Watson’s group had two completions, then a sack, then a penalty, then another penalty. Looks like practice is over.

7. Brownies: Practice was moved indoors due to rain threat, but no fans were scheduled for today. … Teven Jenkins remained at right guard with the ones. … S Emmanual McNeil-Warren saw first team reps in three safety looks. … CB Demarri Davis and RT Tytus Howard returned to action. … Hall of Famer Joe Thomas attended practice.
8. Up Next: The Browns will practice on Tuesday at 1:30 PM ET. It will be open to the public. There are just two more sessions open to the public, this Tuesday and Wednesday.
