The 2026 World Cup might be in our rear-view mirror, but there's more spectacular international soccer to be enjoyed. Tonight, the best MLS players will face the best Liga MX players in the 2026 MLS All-Star Game.
The game's roster will feature some familiar faces from this year's World Cup, including South Korea's Son Heung-Min, as well as breakout USMNT stars Julian Hall and Zavier Gozo. However, the GOAT and Inter Miami star Lionel Messi will once again miss the MLS All-Star Game. Last year, he was suspended for missing the game, but the league allowed it this year so that he could rest after a grueling World Cup.
The MLS All-Stars vs. Liga MX All-Stars format was debuted in 2024, and the two sides have gone 1-1, with MLS winning last year.
