Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White seems to be on the hot seat.
Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham was recently on the receiving end of a brutal foul from Chicago Sky’s DiJonai Carrington, which led to her ejection from the game.
Cunningham flat-out called the foul intentional, sparking a major debate about Carrington’s behavior. Of course, Stephanie White, the head coach of the Fever, was expected to be in support of Cunningham.
However, White gave the benefit of the doubt to Carrington, even claiming she didn’t see it as an intentional foul.

Is Stephanie White fired by the Indiana Fever?
The aftermath of White’s postgame conference has led to many influential people calling for her firing, including Indiana’s Lt. Governor.
Amidst these rumors, X handle ‘Fever Update’ has claimed that the franchise has already let go of their head coach.
The handle also claimed that the team will announce a new head coach before the Fever’s upcoming game against the New York Liberty.
However, in reality, the Fever have made no such announcement. As things stand, White remains the head coach of the team, albeit with many wanting her to be sacked.
After all, Fever fans have had enough of White’s reluctance of defender her own players, be it Cunningham or Caitlin Clark. They want her out.
