I can't prove it, but I think my husband was always a little jealous of my elaborate skincare routine. So when I stumbled upon Jaxon Lane, I knew he had to give it a try. The McLaren Artura has been out for a few years now, but it remains one of the most balanced supercars on the road. In terms of driveability, the Artura is wildly more tameable than its specifications or looks might imply. The car's 690 horsepower comes courtesy of a twin-turbo V6 and an electric motor, but the latter can be used solo for an EPA-estimated 11 miles of electric-only driving (that means silence when pulling out of the garage in the morning). It's a rocket when you want fun and a civilized putter when you need practicality. We were able to drive the car through rain and shine, and in both cases it felt exceptionally planted and approachable (even when opening it up on back roads).
