Ezri Konsa expected to start for Arsenal at Aston Villa
Arsenal take on Aston Villa in a few hours, and there is growing expectation that one of their summer signings could make his full debut. The Sun reports that Ezri Konsa could be named in the starting XI for the match.
The Englishman joined the Gunners in this transfer window and has been training with the team since he was presented during their last match. His arrival has added further options to Arsenal’s defence as they prepare for the new campaign.
Konsa ready for Arsenal debut
Konsa did not have enough time training with his new teammates to start or receive minutes in the game against Coventry City . However, he is now considered ready to feature, having had more time to work with the squad and adapt to his new surroundings.
With a focus on quality over quantity, Konsa is one of the few players Arsenal have added to their squad this summer as they prepare to retain the Premier League title. His versatility could prove particularly valuable to the team.
