Brats have been a force throughout the bracket, advancing each round on the strength of Wisconsin tradition, game‑day heritage, and a fan base that knows exactly what tailgating should taste like.
Now, bratwurst faces its toughest challenge yet: Philadelphia cheesesteaks, the bracket’s most dominant performer and a dish that has surged through every round with overwhelming support. This championship matchup pits two iconic foods against each other — the sizzling, perfectly grilled brats of Green Bay versus the thin‑sliced beef and melted cheese that define Philadelphia. Both carry decades of cultural weight, but only one can claim the title.
The challenge is a joint partnership between USA TODAY and the Pro Football Hall of Fame , who are teaming up for a nationwide celebration of the foods that define football culture across all 32 NFL cities .
Every ballot cast not only helps Green Bay advance but also enters fans into a giveaway for a $1,000 Pro Football Hall of Fame merchandise gift card. One lucky voter will walk away with the chance to load up on Hall of Fame apparel, collectibles, and memorabilia.
So gear up, Packers fans. Cast your vote, rep your city, and help bratwurst chase the national title.
