Lucumi found it easier to play alongside better players after Juventus debut
Jhon Lucumi was handed his first start as a Juventus player in their match against Parma, and he was very happy to play for the club.
The defender only moved to the club this summer and had to turn down approaches from several other clubs to join the Old Lady.
He waited for Juventus after giving them his word that they were the only club he wanted to join, and his dream eventually came true.
Juve are more than happy to have landed such a talented defender, and the Bianconeri will do their best to make the most of his talent.
He was given a caution just a few minutes after the start of the game, but he still performed well until he was replaced in the second half.
Lucumi enjoys Juventus debut
At Bologna, he played alongside good players, but in this game, he could tell that at Juve there are even better players around him.
He said via Tuttojuve :
“Good, great. I think playing alongside great players is easier, and we’re happy because the team is working well. We’re trying to be a strong team, and we have to keep it up.”
His first start provided Lucumi with an opportunity to experience playing alongside his new teammates in a competitive match. Despite receiving an early caution, he remained composed and contributed to Juventus’ defensive performance.
