NYPD searching for vandals who threw feces, motor oil at Queens synagogues Tuesday, August 25, 2026 2:55PM Stream New York's #1 news - AccuWeather - original content 24/7 QUEENS (WABC) -- The NYPD is searching for suspects after motor oil and feces were thrown at two Queens synagogues last month.
The suspects were caught on camera tossing the mixture at Young Israel of Jamaica Estates on 188th Street on July 16.
Police say the same duo targeted the Young Israel of Holliswood on Francis Lewis Boulevard before that.
Worshippers arrived to services Friday morning to find the noxious concoction outside their houses of worship.
The incidents are under investigation by the NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force.
