Foundation Celtic Sleep Out London event returns this December
Celtic FC Foundation are delighted to confirm that our London Sleep Out event will return on Friday, December 11.
As we look ahead to our 2026 Christmas Appeal, we are humbly asking supporters to join us at the London event, which will take place once again, at St Anne’s Primary School in Whitechapel.
Participants will spend the night – from 9pm-5am – battling the elements outdoors, under the stars, all for a wonderful cause.
The London venue holds huge historical significance for the Celtic Family and this year’s event will be the ninth at St Anne’s. In 1892, five years after his leading role in the formation of Celtic Football Club, the Marist Order moved Brother Walfrid from Glasgow to the Whitechapel area of London’s East End.
Over the next 15 years, as Head Teacher at St Anne’s Primary, Brother Walfrid transformed the school and also established a project to provide meals to the poor in the local community.
Registration for the Celtic Sleep Out, London is now open. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The non-refundable registration fee is £30 per person. Please ensure you read the before completing the process.
All we ask is that you commit to raising a minimum of £135 (after the entry fee) in support of Celtic FC Foundation’s 2026 Christmas Appeal.

Due to anticipated wintry weather conditions, the event will be exceptionally challenging, both mentally and physically. Therefore, participants must be aged 18+ and in an appropriate physical condition to participate. Participants are required to bring the appropriate equipment and wear relevant clothing and footwear.
The London event joins the Celtic Sleep Out, Glasgow, which was launched earlier this month and will take place at Celtic Park on Saturday, November 14, while we’ll also be confirming details of our Irish Sleep Out event very soon.
All funds raised from these events will support our 2026 Christmas Appeal, which reflects the very essence of why our club was formed.
Through this year’s Christmas Appeal, we hope to assist local families facing poverty, so they can enjoy the type of Christmas that many of us take for granted.
As well as pensioners, women and children in refuge, the homeless community, refugees and a host of others who would otherwise struggle at an especially challenging time of year.
So please help us make a difference to those most in need within our communities this Christmas.
