On Saturday, the Steelers signed veteran safety Rayshawn Jenkins to a one-year deal following a successful workout with the team on Day 3 of training camp.

— Jahleel Addae (@Do_OrAddae37) August 1, 2026 Jenkins, who was drafted by the Chargers in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, went on to play four seasons with Los Angeles (2017-2020), three with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2021-2023), one with the Seattle Seahawks (2024), and one with the Cleveland Browns (2025).
The 2026 season will be Jenkins' 10th year in the NFL. Given his experience in a variety of different systems, Jenkins should make an instant impact as both a depth contributor and leader for Patrick Graham's defense.
