Roster locks and bubble players heading into Bears training camp

The Chicago Bears are gearing up for the start of training camp this week, where second-year head coach Ben Johnson is looking to prepare his team for the 2026 NFL season. But there are also some important roster decisions for Johnson and general manager Ryan Poles.

While there are a number of players who will no doubt make the 53-man roster, including the team's biggest stars, there are others who are competing for a spot on the final roster, the practice squad or a job elsewhere in the league.
