General manager Mickey Loomis told reporters two players went on the PUP list: defensive lineman Keeshawn Silver, a rookie free agent from the USC Trojans; and wide receiver Mason Tipton, a third-year pro. Loomis expressed optimism that both of them will be back soon but declined to share a timeline.
Additionally, two players are going on the non-football injury list: defensive tackle Zxavian Harris, who is still recovering from foot surgery in March; and tight end Cody Hardy, who didn't pass conditioning test. Loomis added that they shoukdn't miss much time, either.
That's the bad news. The good news is that first-round wide receiver Jordyn Tyson is good to go, as is second-round pick Christen Miller. Loomis said that anyone else he didn't mentioned passed the conditioning test and will participate in practice.
