The Oklahoma men’s basketball program dropped its complete 2026-27 schedule on Monday.
Porter Moser and the Sooners will play 32 regular season games with 18 at home, 10 true road games, and four big neutral-site matchups.
The non-conference portion includes games in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, and the whole slate features 15 games against teams that made the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
Oklahoma will start the year with five straight home games at Lloyd Noble Center. They open on Monday, November 2 against East Texas A&M, then host Mississippi Valley State (Nov. 6), North Alabama (Nov. 9), Fairleigh Dickinson (Nov. 13), and Campbell (Nov. 18).
It’s a solid way to get some early wins and build confidence before things get serious.
Thanksgiving week sends the Sooners to Florida for the Fort Myers Tip-Off, where they’ll face Pitt on November 24 and Purdue on Thanksgiving Day. Pitt is coached by former OU head coach Jeff Capel, while Purdue is coming off a 30-win season. That’s a tough pair of power-conference opponents early.
The high-level stretch continues on December 1 when Syracuse comes to Norman for the SEC/ACC Challenge. Then it’s off to Tulsa on December 5 to face Arizona State at the BOK Center .
After a home game against Alabama State on December 7, the Sooners play Oklahoma State in a Bedlam matchup on December 12 at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. OU has won the last four meetings against the Cowboys.
The non-conference schedule wraps up with home games against Jackson State (Dec. 17) and ULM (Dec. 28) around a road trip to SMU on December 22.
In SEC play, each team plays the other 15 schools at least once, with three opponents played twice. For OU, the home-and-away opponents are Georgia, Missouri, and Texas.
Weekend dates are set, while midweek games will be on Tuesday or Wednesday and announced later. Tip times and TV designations are still to come.
Oklahoma opens conference play on Saturday, January 2 against Kentucky at home. Other Saturday home games include Mississippi State (Jan. 9), South Carolina (Jan. 30), LSU (Feb. 13), and Texas (Feb. 20).
The midweek home games are Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia, and Vanderbilt. On the road, OU has Saturday games at Texas (Jan. 16), Alabama (Jan. 23), Auburn (Feb. 6), Ole Miss (Feb. 27), and Arkansas (March 6).
The other road trips are to Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M, and Missouri. The SEC Tournament is March 10-14 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
This schedule is no joke. Moser is in year six, and with a mix of returning pieces and new talent, the Sooners will be tested early and often. Non-conference games against Pitt, Purdue, Syracuse, Arizona State, and Oklahoma State should give them some good challenges before SEC play starts.
