According to CBS Sports’ John Breech, since 2002, three of the last four Super Bowl favorites who entered their respective seasons as the only team with less than +1000 odds did not go on to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy in those seasons.
The Rams are an unbelievably talented team with AP MVP Matt Stafford and AP Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett leading their charge. However, the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks have a talented team of their own, led by Sam Darnold and AP Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Seattle is out to repeat as Super Bowl champions next season, and have the talent to get the better of Los Angeles in the NFC race next season.
