Barcelona star Gavi has this week kept his word regarding a promise made prior to Spain’s campaign at this summer’s World Cup.
Midfielder Gavi was of course afforded a place in Luis de la Fuente’s Spanish squad which ultimately marched all the way to glory in North America last month.
En route to La Roja’s 2nd-ever World Cup crown, the 21-year-old notched a pair of appearances, one from the off and one off the bench. Though not exactly a key contributor on the pitch, Gavi’s personality and stellar attitude are understood to have been highly appreciated by his teammate and Spain’s coaching staff alike.
And as alluded to above, this week, the youngster has continued to showcase his commitment to the cause…
Speaking ahead of the World Cup being kicked into gear earlier this summer, Gavi revealed his intention to dye his hair if Spain went all the way.
In the early hours of Thursday, the midfielder therefore confirmed that he had done precisely that, courtesy of a post on social media:
