UFC Fight Night 288 (Paramount+), also known as Noche UFC, takes place this year at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, just outside Phoenix. In the main event, Jean Silva (17-3 MMA, 6-1 UFC) takes on Jose Delgado (12-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC), who stepped in for Yair Rodriguez, who had to pull out of the headliner.
Silva got back in the win column in January against Arnold Allen after his first loss in the UFC against Diego Lopes , who knocked him out a year ago to get a featherweight title shot against champ Alexander Volkanovski.
Delgado has back-to-back decision wins following the lone loss of his UFC tenure 10 months ago, but Silva will be easily his biggest challenge yet. The MMA Lab-trained fighter has a home show for his first UFC main event, which likely can't hurt.
