49ers to sign former Commanders 5th-round pick to help ailing DE room

The San Francisco 49ers are adding depth at defensive end and signing former Washington Commanders fifth-round pick KJ Henry according to NFL Media's Mike Garafolo.

Henry was one of a quartet of defensive players to try out for the 49ers on Tuesday. Per the NFL's transaction wire, the 49ers tried out linebackers Quinton Bell and Victor Dimukeje, and defensive ends Henry and Titus Leo.
