New York Mets players should be prepared to pack their bags over the next few days, as just about everyone could be had for the right price at the 2026 MLB trade deadline.
By the August 3 MLB trade deadline, plenty of these Mets players will be traded to join new teams to bolster those clubs' World Series and postseason odds. But which players are the most likely to go?
According to ESPN's Jeff Passan , two Mets relievers are "certain" to be traded this summer. Those two relievers are lefties, A.J. Minter and Brooks Raley.

"Raley and Minter will move for certain, and Weaver is expected to generate enough interest to warrant dealing him with one year left on his contract," Passan writes.
The Mets are expected to trade both Raley and Minter, a pair of left-handed relievers who are in the final year of their club control and will hit free agency next year.
But, Passan is even reporting that Luke Weaver, under contract for 2027 on his two-year, $22 million contract, is looking likely to be traded amid expected significant interest.
Huascar Brazoban might also be traded this summer, but his situation is a bit different as a reliever with significantly more control than the other three relievers.

But, when it comes to Weaver, Minter, and Raley, those three look likely to be traded, with Passan reporting that the two left-handers are "certain" to be dealt this summer.
Raley has a 2.09 ERA in 38.2 innings pitched, while Minter, in 23 innings this season, has a 2.35 ERA. Both would fetch solid returns as rental reliever trade chips this summer.
Neither will land the kind of return Weaver, Clay Holmes, or Freddy Peralta will, but the Mets could do fairly well, all things considered, for the pair of left-handed veteran rental relievers.
Mets fans should expect both Minter and Raley to be on new teams by the August 3 MLB trade deadline, while Weaver also has a decent chance to be dealt by Monday's deadline.
