Why settle for one Rio Ngumoha when you can have two? The winger is seen as the future for Liverpool, hopefully for the very, very long-term.
The Reds pushed hard to sign him out of Chelsea's academy and now Ngumoha is blossoming into something special. Liverpool think so, England think so, and now the world is seeing it.
But now the club wish to take it further and they're reportedly in talks to sign the dream development partner for Ngumoha. And we really can't stress enough just how ideal this is.
Journalist Fabrice Hawkins is among those claiming that the Reds are to enter talks with Paris Saint-Germain over Ibrahim Mbaye. The Senegal star will leave Paris this summer and his destination is all that needs figuring out.

Liverpool hope that destination is Anfield and with good reason. Mbaye, after all, is essentially another Ngumoha but for the other flank.
There were two out-and-out wingers born in 2008 who got at least 500 minutes across Europe's top five leagues last season. One was Ngumoha, the other Mbaye.

It's incredibly unsual. Only 11 players born in 2008 played 500 minutes across all positions, and by our model, the top four attacking outputs were Karl, Mbaye, Wael Mohya at Borussia Mönchengladbach and Ngumoha.
The idea of putting two of them together is an exciting one, especially as it's a natural fit. Both are wingers who want to dribble, they complete their passes, and make things happen in the final third.
They're the same age, can easily play in the same team, and look like wonderful compliments to one another. Developing them together feels like a fantastic idea - one where they don't just become top players but learn how to play as one.
That's one of the biggest issues with elite talents, after all: getting the best out of them in the same team. This feels like a sure-fire way of eliminating that problem.
It's an incredibly exciting idea, then. Liverpool just need to make it happen.
