Barcelona have agreed a deal in principle with Arsenal to sign Gabriel Jesus for £8.6m (€10m).
All sides are now working on the details of the transfer and it is progressing towards a conclusion.
Plans are therefore being made for the Brazil striker to travel to Spain, which could be as soon as Monday.
Jesus had also been linked with a move to Serie A side Napoli.
The Jesus deal may not end Barcelona's pursuit of Julian Alvarez. Sky Sports News has been told they are completely separate.
Brazil forward Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in a £45m deal four years ago.
He has scored 32 goals in 123 appearances for Arsenal, but managed just three Premier League starts last season.
