ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Lightning storms led to some lengthy delays and even some postponements on the opening Friday night of the high school football season. The majority of the games in the Rockford area were completed. The 'Overtime' team had it covered. Highlights include Harlem's win against Belvidere North and Hononegah's victory over Belvidere. Also, Du-Pec's successful debut in the Big Northern Conference with a win at Oregon. This show also includes our Spotlight feature story on Guilford senior and Ole Miss commit Keysan Taylor.
