Topline Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are moving back to the United Kingdom, according to multiple reports , returning to Britain six years after their royal exit and move to the U.S.
The couple are planning to move back to the U.K. this year, The Telegraph reported, noting their children have been enrolled for school in Britain.
The move does not mean Prince Harry or Meghan will resume their roles as working royals, according to the BBC , positions they stepped away from in 2020 over a desire for familial privacy as Meghan faced intense tabloid scrutiny.
King Charles was unaware of the couple’s plan to move before last weekend, the BBC added, reporting Prince Harry and Megan’s relationship with the royal family has been strained since they moved to the U.S. and that a recent visit with the king was a “key development in their relationship.”
